About Nikkei Business Magazine
Nikkei Business, the flagship magazine of Nikkei Business Publications, was launched in 1969. It is Japan's leading weekly business magazine for top and middle managers providing them with invaluable information for running their companies. The current circulation is 270,031 (Japan ABC 2009) of which more than 90% are subscribers.
The magazine provides readers with coverage of the latest trends and in-depth analysis. It includes reports on macroeconomic trends that affect the management environment and philosophy and business strategy. In addition, it covers methodologies of new product development and production and marketing and offers a variety of different case studies and perspectives. All the stories in Nikkei Business are based on first-hand information obtained through interviews with managers and company employees.
In order to give non-Japanese speakers a better understanding of what is in Nikkei Business; Nikkei BP launched its first English language website in November 2001. The site includes an article from the latest issue of Nikkei Business and an article from Nikkei Business Online and we plan to introduce more editorial content in the future. The site requires no registration and is free for anyone to access.
